USB Webcam Module
- The OV5640 (color) image sensor is a low-voltage, high-performance 1/4-inch 5-megapixel CMOS image sensor that provides the full functionality of a single-chip 5-megapixel camera through OmniBSl. The OV5640 camera module image array is capable of running at up to 15 frames per second (fps), and the OV5640 USB camera module also includes a compression engine to increase processing power. In addition, the OmniVision image sensor module uses proprietary sensor technology to produce clean, fully stable, color images by reducing or eliminating common lighting/electrical source image contamination.
HD Mini Camera Module
- The OV5640 HD camera module enables 720p HD video at 60 frames per second (FPS) and 1080p HD video at 30fps with full user control over the format and output data transmission. In addition, a unique post-resample filtering function removes jagged artifacts around oblique edges and minimizes spatial artifacts to provide a clearer, crisper color image. To further enhance camera performance and user experience, the OV5640 micro camera is equipped with an internal anti-shake engine for image stabilization.
