5 mega pixel Camera Module
- OV5640 is a high-performance 5-megapixel CMOS image sensor launched by OmniVision, which is widely used in embedded vision, security monitoring, smart devices and other fields. The OV5640 camera module adopts 1.4μm OmniBSI back-illuminated technology, with high sensitivity, low noise and excellent low-light performance. OmniVision image sensor modules use proprietary sensor technology to improve image quality by reducing or eliminating common lighting/power that pollutes the image, resulting in clean, fully stable color images.

- HZ-OV5640AF S1.0 is a 5MP USB interface camera module that uses a 5MP OV5640 CMOS image sensor to achieve 2592×1944 HD video at 15 frames per second (fps), and users have full control over formatting and output data transmission. All necessary image processing functions, including exposure control, gamma, white balance, color saturation, hue control, defective pixel removal, noise removal, etc., can be programmed through the SCCB interface or embedded microcontroller. The OV5640 also includes a compression engine to increase processing power.

-Automatic black level calibration (ABLC): reduces the impact of dark current and improves image quality.
-Automatic elimination of light stripes: reduces interference caused by LED strobe.
5) Image processing function:
-Image scaling and cropping: supports dynamic adjustment of output resolution, such as 1080p, 720p, VGA, etc.
-JPEG compression: reduces storage and transmission bandwidth requirements.
-Gamma correction, sharpness adjustment, tone control: optimize image effects.
6) Low power design:
-Working power consumption 150-200mW, suitable for battery-powered devices.
-Support low power mode (PWDN control): can reduce standby power consumption.
