Full HD Camera Module

• The Sony IMX179 is a 5.7 mm (1/3.2") diagonal 8.8 MP CMOS image sensor with a square pixel array. The IMX179 HD USB camera module uses an advanced back-illuminated (BSI) pixel structure to significantly improve low-light imaging performance while supporting high dynamic range (HDR) shooting for detailed and realistic images. The chip is equipped with an electronic shutter with variable charge storage time, making it ideal for mobile phones and tablets.

• IMX179 – 8 MP autofocus USB camera module with Sony IMX179 color sensor. The sensor module uses a 1/3.2" optical format with a pixel size of 1.4 μm x 1.4 μm, providing 8 MP images with a resolution of 3264 x 2448. The sensor compiles images by scanning horizontally (or downwards). The camera module uses a USB UVC interface and is compatible with Windows, Linux, and Apple systems.
